About Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue

Baby Gunn’s animal rescue in Paris, Texas, founded in 2018 is a 501(3)c nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to saving one paw at a time big or small. Baby Gunn’s was started in loving memory of sweet Gunny. Gunny was adopted from a shelter as a puppy into the best family ever & instantly  became best friends with his owners little boy Alden, he was his first dog. Out of nowhere one day Gunny fell ill. After multiple tests were run the results came back heartbreaking…. at only six years young Gunny was diagnosed with lymphoma. Less than two weeks after being diagnosed his condition worsened and his family made a heartbreaking decision to help him cross  over the rainbow bridge. Though his life was short Gunny brought so much joy and love to his family and his best friend Alden who he literally grew up with. Our goal is to honor Gunny’s  memory by giving all the dogs that come through our door the same chance at a great life like Gunny had…as they all deserve it. 

All our dogs are vet checked for health, given all shots, wormer, heart worm tested, spay/neutered, microchipped for life at our cost & gets flea/tick med as well as heartworm meds. 

We require applications on all our dogs to make sure the right fit for your family.
